How we protect your privacy at Vibing Sarasota.
Last Updated: September 7, 2026
1. Introduction
Vibing Sarasota ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you visit our website.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Choose to Provide
If you use a contact, suggestion, comment, or other submission form, we collect the information you enter so we can review and respond to it. We do not request:
- Social security numbers or other government IDs
- Financial information or payment details
2.2 Essential Request and Security Logs
When a page is requested, our first-party Cloudflare service records technical request data needed to diagnose automated traffic, abuse, security problems, and site failures. A request log may include:
- Network information: IP address, request time, Cloudflare request ID, data-center location, country or region, network number (ASN), and network organization
- Request information: Requested page, referrer host, and non-sensitive HTTP request headers such as user agent, accepted content types and languages, browser client hints, and fetch metadata
- Connection information: Available HTTP, TLS, and connection metadata supplied by Cloudflare, including Cloudflare bot-related metadata when available
- Browser context: Page title, language, time zone, screen size, and viewport size when the browser runs our first-party visit beacon
- Pseudonymous identifier: A random first-party browser identifier and a salted hash used to associate the browser beacon with its page request
We exclude cookie values, authorization headers, administrative PINs, API tokens, signing values, passwords, credentials, and other secret-bearing request headers from these logs. We do not calculate or store a Vibing Sarasota bot score.
2.3 Consent-Based Analytics
If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity may collect page views, navigation, clicks, scrolling, session activity, device information, and related usage measurements. Microsoft Clarity masks sensitive input fields. These analytics tools are separate from the essential first-party request logs described above.
3. How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- Identify automated requests, abusive traffic, and security incidents
- Troubleshoot errors and maintain reliable website delivery
- Improve website performance and user experience
- Understand which content is most helpful to visitors
- Ensure our website functions properly across different devices
- Review and respond to information you submit
4. Retention
Non-administrative request-log rows, including IP addresses and sanitized request headers, are retained until we delete them or for a maximum of 180 days, whichever happens first. The private review tool allows earlier manual deletion. Administrative markers contain no raw request evidence and may be kept longer to prevent our own review activity from being counted as public traffic.
Submission and editorial records are kept as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which they were collected. Google, Microsoft, and Cloudflare apply their own retention practices to data they process as service providers.
5. Cookies and Tracking
5.1 Essential First-Party Cookie
We use an essential, random first-party browser identifier named vibing_client to connect a page request with its browser-reported context and to support abuse controls. It is not an account login and does not contain your IP address. Essential request logging operates regardless of your analytics-cookie choice.
5.2 Analytics Cookies
With your consent, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity help us:
- Count the number of visitors
- See which pages are most popular
- Understand how people navigate our site, including aggregated heatmaps and session activity (with sensitive input fields automatically masked)
These tools load only after you accept analytics cookies, and you can withdraw consent at any time using the cookie banner.
5.3 Your Cookie Choices
You can control cookie preferences through our consent banner or your browser settings. You may:
- Accept all cookies for the best experience
- Accept only essential cookies
- Customize your preferences
6. Service Providers
6.1 Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager
We use Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics 4, which helps us analyze website usage. These services may collect information about your use of our website. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.
6.2 Microsoft Clarity
With analytics consent, we use Microsoft Clarity for usage metrics, heatmaps, and session activity such as clicks, scrolling, and navigation. We send your analytics choice to Clarity through its consent interface. For details, see Microsoft Clarity Consent Mode and the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
6.3 Cloudflare
Cloudflare delivers the website and provides Workers, D1 storage, network metadata, and security services used for our first-party request logs. For details, see Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

Our website contains links to local businesses and external websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites.
7. Data Security
